The Arc Step Up Program in Dickinson road tripped to Bismarck on a beautiful fall day. We started at The Gateway to Science where we tested our skills making paper airplanes, practiced giving a weather report, investigating how the body works, and many other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities. After a quick lunch at Olive Garden, we finished out our day at Papas Pumpkin Patch where we spent the afternoon running the obstacle course, riding the zip line, finding our way through the hay maze, tasting the pumpkin cookies and of course searching for the perfect pumpkins to bring home to decorate.
